To sum it up, we offer:

  • 3 Year or 1 Million Mile Powertrain Promise
  • 5 Year or 1 Million Mile Powertrain Promise
  • 7 Year or 1 Million Mile Powertrain Promise

Each warranty policy covers the cost of labor at a shop. The labor rate that is covered depends on the warranty policy you sign up for. It ranges between $50 and $100 per hour. For example, the 7 year warranty comes with labor that’s covered at $100 per hour.

In order to get your PPI part covered by one of our warranty policies, you need to register the policy first. Our online product registration tool (which you can find here) is pretty easy to use. All you have to do is:

  1. Select when you purchased the part
  2. Pick the warranty policy you want to use
  3. Complete a form with your information and your vehicle’s information

How To Submit A Warranty Claim With Powertrain Products

At PPI, we have a dedicated warranty customer service team ready to process claims. If you need to submit a warranty claim, call us at 1-888-842-0023 or email us at [email protected]. When you contact us, include the following information:

  • The purchase invoice number
  • Your name
  • Your reason for submitting a warranty claim

Be sure to complete your warranty registration before contacting us. This way, your claim will be expedited.

You Can Opt Into The Powertrain Products Extended Warranty Program

At the time of purchase, we also offer an extended warranty plan called Powertrain Pure Care (which you can learn about here). For an extra $300, you’ll get a beefed up warranty policy. The extra perks include:

  • Increased labor rate to up to $110 per hour
  • Towing coverage of up to $150
  • Rental coverage of up to $35 per day (up to 10 days)
  • Diagnostic time – up to 2 hours
